Interdimesional Travel Guide triptych (2023)

Over the course of the pandemic, it became evident through social media that there was an uptick of interest in new-age spirituality. A community known as “shifters” arose on TikTok claiming that guided meditation and manifestation could allow you to leave your body and explore alternate dimensions or “the multiverse.” At the same time, Neo pagan influencers or “witchtok” is growing along side them, monetizing and commodifying a religious practice based in worshiping nature and anti capitalism. This series is a piece of speculative fiction inspired by vintage travel posters, depicting the birth of a new era. The final, final frontier traveling through the fourth dimension.

Sound Diary
2021
printed zine
148 x 210 mm

This book is a documentation of a week in my life, spending time back in my childhood home during the COVID-19 pandemic.
Non-essential businesses were
completely shut down, and my life suddenly became a lot slower compared to the life I was living in Paris. Visually documenting individual noises I was hearing became a mindfullness exercise that grounded me in the present moment. Ultimately, this was an
exercise in sound design as the
ability to name individual noises
would prove useful when designing sound art.
